The Merrian Webster definition of the word celebrate is
: to do something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, holiday, etc,
: to praise someone or something: to say someone or something is important
: to perform a religious ceremony
The word celebration means the act of celebrating and have I done a lot of celebration photography. I love doing intimate weddings, whether it be in New York’s Central Park, someone’s home or the hundreds of other venues in New York City. I’ve done them all, from small first weddings to second and third marriages, along with same sex weddings.
I’ve photographed numerous parties to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays for all ages and many bar and bas mitzvahs. I’ve even done cooking parties and wine tastings. I love meeting new people having fun and coming together to celebrate a friend or relative’s special occasion. My clients and their guests always say they thought I was part of the family, not the obtrusive pain in the neck photographer.
